In humanity’s eternal symphony,
I discern the melodies that diverge and entwine.
Some souls pursue solemn quests through shadowed vales,
While others revel in laughter’s effervescent shine.
A few embrace the depths of contemplative repose,
In whispers drawn from antiquity’s profound well,
And some erupt in vibrant, unbridled prose,
Demanding existence to yield its richest spell.
Our countenances compose a symphony of hues –
Sable and amber, porcelain and bronze profound,
A kaleidoscope where boundaries softly fuse,
Each visage a verse in creation’s boundless round.
I have traversed the earth’s vast, whispering expanse,
From emerald jungles to peaks where eagles soar,
Encountered myriad spirits in fate’s intricate dance,
Yet no two essences mirrored, forevermore.
Innumerable hearts bear names that echo wide,
Like ripples across a tranquil, timeless sea,
But beneath the surface, unique currents abide,
Each narrative ascending, eternally free.
Even kin born of the same primordial flame
Harbour visions that wander on disparate streams,
And companions, entwined in affection’s claim,
Conjure realms apart in their nocturnal dreams.
We aspire to summits in realms both near and far,
Lament beneath heavens of unyielding grey,
Forge legacies with hands scarred by toil’s war,
And waver in the brilliance of emerging day.
From polar frosts to equatorial gales,
We crave, aspire, confront the enveloping night.
In trifling variances, diversity prevails,
Yet in essence, we converge in shared light.
I observe the nuances that liberate our flight,
The tints that enliven our collective soul’s rite,
Yet we are brethren, my brethren, in truth’s sight
More alike than unalike, in unity’s might.
We are more alike, my brethren,
Than we are unalike.
We are more alike, my brethren,
Than we are unalike.
